Colin Foley / Web Application Developer
Colin A Foley joined Accella in 2010. His programming career began in high school where he began to learn the ins and outs of the Java language. While attending Lehigh University, Colin focused his efforts on web development. Ever since then, the majority of his work experience has been developing websites with PHP, MySQL, Adobe ColdFusion, J2EE, HTML and CSS. Upon graduating from Lehigh with a Bachelor's cum laude, Colin spent a brief stint teaching students with emotional and behavioral disorders. After finishing a year of teaching, he fully invested himself into web development once again by familiarizing himself with Ruby on Rails and developing web applications in his free time.
Colin loves to learn new languages and technologies. He is continually enhancing his skill set by picking up new frameworks and concepts. Outside of work, Colin is active in his church by teaching Sunday School and leading small groups. He adores his wife and his daughter. Colin loves to hike, read, and think of new programming projects and applications. He has traveled to China, Ireland, and Peru and hopes to visit Alaska, as well as the three remaining continents of Africa, Antarctica, and Australia.
