Accella Adds Client Services Manager and Interactive Designer to its Staff

Firm Recently Named to Baltimore magazine’s “Best Places To Work” is Growing

January 26, 2011 – Baltimore, MD: Leading interactive mobile and web development company, Accella, announced today the hiring of Amy Wilson as Client Services Manager; in addition, Interactive Designer, Dan Hauk, joined the company earlier this month. Both individuals join an organization that was named by Baltimore magazine as one of the “Best Places To Work” in Baltimore in their February, 2011 issue.

Accella’s two new hires this year build upon their growth from last year where they added six individuals. “We’ve been growing rapidly over the past two years, but at a comfortable pace for us,” said Jason King, President of Accella. “Our additions have been out of necessity, not want. When we see a good number of projects on the horizon we make sure that we have the resources on hand to take care of our clients. Adding Dan and Amy at this time is essential in making sure that our client’s projects stay on track and finish on time & within budget.”

Mrs. Wilson joins Accella with eight years experience in the project management, sales, and marketing of Internet solutions; she will be taking on a similar role at Accella working directly with Accella’s Vice President of Business Development, John Rainey. “I’ve worked with Amy in the past and am excited to once again be working with her,” said Rainey. “Her ability to listen to a client’s needs and offer a custom web solution that will not only help solve their issues now, but also be robust enough to scale for future growth, is a skill that fits our organization’s mission.”

Mr. Hauk joins Accella as an Interactive Designer, he will work directly with Mitch Maltese, Accella’s Art Director. “Dan brings with him a diverse background in user interface design and front-end development using HTML, CSS, and jQuery,” said Mitch. “Our clients will benefit from having a resource at their disposal that can handle a wide variety of design requests on a quick and timely basis.”

In addition to the new hires that started this month, Accella is looking to fill several other positions over the next six months, including an Android application developer, marketing specialist, and HTML designer/developer.
