Interactive Development Firm, Accella, Still Hiring in a Down Economy
A New Executive Sales Director, Mobile Application Developer, and Project Manager Started Join the Firm
August 4, 2011 – Baltimore, MD: Leading interactive mobile and web development company, Accella, announced today three new employees began work in the past two weeks. Carin Weiss joined the company as Executive Sales Director, Lauren Carter joined as a Project Manager, and Nicholas Whittier is their newest Mobile Application Developer. The addition of these three employees brings the total number of Accella employees to twenty-one.
The filling of three new positions is a direct result of a new clients being brought on and an increase in demand from existing clients. “We are talking with a lot of different companies and organizations about developing mobile apps in a wide range of industries,” said John Rainey, Vice President of Business Development. “We constantly have an eye out for new talent, it just so happened that we were able to fill these positions in a relatively short time frame.”
The three new employees that began in the past two weeks are in addition to five other employees that have joined the company so far this year. Jason King, President of Accella, says that he will continue to add new talent as the demand increases. “We have been keeping our team extra busy this year. Last year we saw a bit of a slow down in the summer, however this year we have been bringing in new projects every month. It seems as though each month is busier than the last and we have been allocating resources as necessary. I have been keeping a lot of resumes on hand and constantly look for new talent to join the team.”
