Long & Foster is the largest real estate company in the Mid-Atlantic region. As mobile phones push the boundaries of becoming hand held computers, Long & Foster needed a way to offer their services to a community of users that found the majority of their information through their phones. Using PointAbout’s thin-client springboard, Accella put together a mobile search tool for the iPhone that allows users to find the nearest properties to their current location. The user can then choose to get more details on the property, filter their search results based on standard real estate options, or get directions to the property from their current location.
