Accella’s Role in Development

HTH already had a native iPhone application developed for their mPassport application which allows users to look up medical information throughout the world. Each of their native apps only works for one specific location, such as London, Tokyo, Paris, or Costa Rica. They approached Accella to take their native app and create a mobile website which would be optimized for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Now, users are able to login to the mobile website and search for doctors, dentists, hospitals and pharmacies in any country from a central, mobile application.

As most of the graphics had already been created for the native application, the majority of our work with mPassport was in migrating the native app to a mobile website, and optimizing the graphics and code to properly work on the iPhone and iPod touch.
