Accella Relaunches Their New Website

Updated site focuses on the company’s core competencies:
Website design & mobile application development

Baltimore, MD – July 13, 2010 – Accella LLC today announced the relaunch of it’s website at www.accella.net. The new site, built using WordPress, a content management system, helps showcase Accella’s proficiency in both web design and mobile application development.

“Our new site truly reflects our capabilities at designing high quality websites which take into account search engine optimization as well as the user experience,” said Jason King, president of Accella. “Our old site personified the case of the cobbler’s son never having shoes to wear. We were focused so much on our own client’s projects that our own site fell way behind in terms of looks and functionality; the new site better reflects our expertise as a web design and mobile application development company.”

The site incorporates many different elements to drive a crisp, clean look including flash design, dynamic content generation, a blog, as well as WordPress template integration. Built over the course of several weeks, it showcases Accella’s command of project management and quick turn around that they often provide to their clients. There are three main sections for the site focusing on website design, mobile application development, as well as their marketing capabilities.

“After joining Accella earlier this year my primary initiative was to have our site reflect the quality of work that we provide our clients,” said Jon Stroz, Vice President of Marketing at Accella. “Our site didn’t just need a face lift but rather a complete overhaul. We were able to incorporate existing web content with new content, as well as focus on the user’s experience with the site. In terms of our AdWords campaign, we migrated existing campaigns to the new site with plans to further enhance our campaigns with the pages that were created.”

Accella’s new site was built using WordPress, a content management system which allows anyone to update the site, add pages, images, and information without the need to know HTML.
