Your Complete Party / E-Commerce Website

Your Complete Party is a website built for planning a baby shower.  The requirements for the site were a straight forward design that allowed for quick and easy navigation to the store’s products.  The layout needed to appeal to users that may not be overly tech savvy.

There were two major selling points for why Your Complete Party would offer the best user experience to their customers.  First, they wanted to add the ability for users to plan their party in one place using one click.  From this sprung the idea to offer 3 levels of parties – a basic, premium, and ultimate party.  Accella then added functionality allowing the customer to enter the total number of guests.  With one click, the site would automatically calculate the amount of each product necessary to plan the party.

Second, the client wanted to be able to add baby shower ideas to the site.  This included baby shower decorations, baby shower recipes, and baby shower games.  This would not only help from a search engine optimization point of view, but would also give customers multiple entry points into the site and offer a value added service that other supply websites did not provide.

This site was built in under two weeks using open source application integration of both OSCommerce and Wordpress with the payments processed through authorize.net.  The combination of optimized title tags, pretty URLs, and dynamic content should drive traffic to the site through natural search.  With inbound link campaings, Your Complete Party will be enjoying high ranking and a large number of visitors in no time.
