Accella is looking for a quality assurance analyst with experience writing test plans and scripts for software development and executing on those plans. We believe that technical knowledge of how software is written will be a benefit to this position. We are looking for someone that is very details oriented.
Must have the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical resources. We are looking for someone that enjoys being part of a team and will offer feedback and ideas in order to design and develop the most solid and extensible products for our clients.
We want a leader, an ideas person, and someone that is eager to work in a fast paced environment with multiple projects being tested simultaneously.
What we expect in a candidate:
- BS/BA in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related experience
- 3-5 years experience with testing web-based, client-server, and/or mobile applications
- 3-5 years experience creating test plans, test scenarios, and test cases from functional specifications
- Experience developing test schedules and presenting time estimation for testing activities
- Able to review functional specifications and wireframes to expose inconsistencies, lack of clarity, lack of details, and identify any contradictions
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Able to clearly document and describe technical issues to developers and clients
- Able to assist developers in reproducing and troubleshooting issues
