Apple’s Inviting Developers to Test the Watch

This month has seen a flood of news concerning the Apple Watch, particularly in the wake of the company’s keynote presentation last week. The latest tidbit about the tech giant’s new wearable has arrived in the form of developer testing opportunities.

Critically, this announcement confirms that developers will now get to test their apps on the actual device instead of the xCode simulator. Apple recommends that participants bring one engineer and one designer to each testing – and as could be expected of a secretive company like Apple, only two people from each company are allowed to come.

As the device’s launch date grows closer, it goes without saying that dozens of different companies are in the final stages of creating the very first apps for the Watch.

Keep your eyes peeled – we have our own insights about the Watch coming very soon!
