For those suffering from depression, expressing their feelings to a supportive group can literally be a life saver. Accella built an app to let them do just that.
For those suffering from depression, expressing their feelings to a supportive group can literally be a life saver. Accella built an app to let them do just that.
NAMI Air allows individuals suffering from mental health conditions to anonymously share their thoughts and feelings in a safe and supportive environment.
Users can “like”, “hug”, and “me too” posts to show support. The social aspects of the application create a sense of community among the users.
Content that appears life-threatening or concerning can be flagged so that NAMI can reach out, still anonymously, to those that appear in dire need of support.
